Hexcel provides short-term income protection in the event you become unable to work due to a non-work-related illness or injury.
The benefit replaces 55%* of weekly base pay with no weekly maximum benefit. A buy-up plan to increase the benefit to 66 ⅔% income replacement is available for purchase. Benefits begin after a seven-day waiting period and can last up to 26 weeks.
Expectant mothers employed by Hexcel receive 100% pay for six weeks following a normal delivery and eight weeks for Cesarean delivery.
* 60% for employees based in California. Benefits can last up to 52 weeks.
